- ➤ Mississippi was the latest stop for the Flag Sojourn 250 when three U.S. Air Force members raised a flag over the Governor’s Mansion — after Gov. Tate Reeves and First Lady Elee Reeves spoke. - ➤ Petal’s 3% sales tax collected about $1.4 million for FY2025 from restaurants and bars, averaging $120,000 per month while funding local tourism and park improvements.
