  • The Hattiesburg Salvation Army launched its annual Red Kettle fundraising drive with a Red Kettle 5K at Town Square Park on Saturday, supporting its year-round programs and a community Thanksgiving Dinner on Nov. 20—Captain Nathaniel Revaula said the goal is to provide hope for families in need. The drive seeks $100,000 from 14 red kettle locations this season.  WDAM
  • Kim’s No Bull held its first Jeep show Saturday to collect food donations for The Glory House Food Pantry and toys for the Helping Hands Toy Drive—more than a dozen vehicles and food trucks took part, and the organization will collect toy donations through Dec. 15.  WDAM

  • At Anderson United Methodist Church, day 2 of the Women of Virtue Conference began with inspiring words from Dr. Teresa Hairston Jackson and a gospel performance by Deitrick Haddon — participants joined workshops on prayer and overcoming trauma, and the conference will conclude with a worship service today.  WLBT

  • Southern Miss lost to Texas State 41-14 at M.M. Roberts Stadium on November 15, ending a five-game win streak.
