- ➤ City leaders and Edwards Street Fellowship Center are partnering for Hattiesburg’s Make a Difference Day food drive to help families facing potential SNAP benefit delays. The drive will be held on Saturday, November 8th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hattiesburg Walmart locations on Highway 49 and Highway 98 — food will be distributed from the fellowship center. WDAM
- ➤ USM held its annual Homecoming parade on Oct. 25 along Hardy Street, campus, and Eagle Walk, drawing campus groups and alumni together. The Student Government Association organized the festivities — including a themed float display inspired by The Wizard of Oz — and attendees gathered after the parade to tailgate and celebrate homecoming.
