- ➤ Presbyterian Christian School broke ground on a new multi-purpose center on its elementary school campus that will include a new gym+rooms for fine and performing arts. Head of School Jimmy Messer said the project, part of the Onward and Upward campaign that has reached 86 percent of its 4,025,000 dollar goal, will allow the school to move its preschool onto the campus, improve facilities for 900 students and be complete by fall 2026. - ➤ State Treasurer David McRae announced on Thursday that nearly 4,700 Mississippians will soon receive over $1 million in unclaimed money from the state treasury—checks returned after matching uncashed tax returns and paychecks.
