- ➤ The Rotary Club of Hattiesburg will host the 2nd annual Kicking for Kids kickball fundraiser on Sept. 26 at 2:00 p.m. at Larry Doleac Fields at Tatum Park (proceeds benefit the Kids Hub Advocacy Center) with its President Lee Kemp (who discussed event details with WDAM 7) saying the fundraiser will help support local children. - ➤ 7Brew opened its first Hattiesburg location on September 15 on US-98 near Hobby Lobby in West Hattiesburg and donated a $14,000 check to Hub City Humane Society to help with shelter operations—this marks the coffee shop's community-driven approach.
