- ➤ Two people were shot in a road rage incident near Ellisville when a pickup truck pulled out in front of a group of bikers and fired during a pursuit outside city limits — police are seeking the suspect and took the victims to Forrest General Hospital. WDAM

- ➤ Mississippi Highway Patrol is joining the ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign as people prepare for Labor Day. The agency will add extra troopers along highways—urging drivers to use designated rides for safety. WLBT
