- ➤ Hattiesburg’s African American Military History Museum held a Storytime with a Soldier event on Friday where a local veteran read stories and led a coin jar decoration activity to help children learn about veterans—an event that will be repeated on June 27. WDAM
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office warned Mississippians on June 6 about fraudulent business filings that use stolen personal data to create fake entities—once filed, the records cannot be changed. Citizens are urged to report any suspicious filings to the office or the Attorney General’s Consumer Protection Hotline at 1-800-281-4418. WJTV
