- ➤ Fourteen Pine Belt organizations received $107,135 in grants on Tuesday in Taylorsville from Southern Pine Electric’s Members Helping Members program to support public safety, education and food assistance efforts. The next grant application period runs from August 1 to August 31 — eligible groups such as nonprofits and schools are encouraged to apply for future funding. WDAM
