CRIME NEWS
- ➤ Authorities denied bond for 20-year-old Amardius Mack—charged with three counts of attempted capital murder on a law enforcement officer, two counts of auto burglary, and one count of weapon on school property—after officers responded to a call on May 14 at around 9:10 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Pine Street near Timothy Lane when Mack exchanged gunfire with them, and he was treated at a local hospital before being held at Forrest County Jail while the MBI investigation continues.
