- ➤ Toft Farms in Carriere will offer a U-Pick blueberry experience starting May 29 through June, letting families harvest Mississippi’s official state fruit and enjoy fresh produce. The family farm, operating for nearly 40 years, now benefits from recent rains that boost this year's harvest. WDAM
- ➤ Multiple organizations are helping Purvis storm survivors by offering food + hygiene supplies and daily meal services; Operation Blessing is serving lunches from the Home Depot parking lot in Hattiesburg while volunteers are welcomed from 8:30 a.m. daily through Friday. WDAM
- ➤ After a tornado damaged its building in Purvis, Coaltown Baptist Church held Wednesday night service at Lamar Christian School + reported no injuries while it waits for an insurance response. Community helpers are assisting with cleanup as the church plans its next steps. WDAM

- ➤ Mississippi wildlife officials propose a rule change for nonresident turkey hunters to reduce early-season pressure for the 2027 season.
