- ➤ Eleven Hattiesburg High choral arts students signed agreements Friday to attend local colleges in the Pine Belt. The program grew from 23 to over 130 members in three years as students chose schools such as William Carey University and Pearl River Community College — a testament to its expanding impact on education. - ➤ Some Mississippi Capital One 360 Savings account holders will receive automatic payments from a $425 million settlement approved by a federal judge—payments will start around July 21 and be based on interest rate differences. Hattiesburg American
