Advanced Pet Care donated a microchip scanner now set up outside Cattiesburg Cafe at 5268 Old Highway 11 to help reunite lost pets with their owners.

The scanner is available 24 hours a day so pet owners can quickly check for registered information.

The Downtown Hattiesburg Farmers Market began on March 12 at Town Square Park and will run every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m., featuring fresh produce and handmade goods from local vendors (including food trucks added this season).
