- ➤ Piney Grove Lodge 610A (14-year donor) presented a $300 check Tuesday morning to Shenell Myers’ fourth grade class at Runnelstown Elementary School to support school supplies and other needs. WDAM
- ➤ Students studying EMT and paramedic courses at PRCC are using a newly renovated classroom featuring a custom-built ambulance simulator. The upgrade, funded by Accelerate Mississippi + designed to meet the local need for emergency training, supports efforts to graduate more skilled EMTs in Hattiesburg. WDAM
- ➤ The House passed HB 1126 Tuesday to raise public school teachers’ salaries by $5K + provide special education teachers an extra $3K, increasing base pay from $41,500 to $46,500.
