- ➤ Hattiesburg Public Schools will hold its annual spring job fair for teachers, teacher assistants, curriculum specialists and maintenance workers this Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the district boardroom (301 Mamie St.). WDAM

- ➤ The Old Farmer's Almanac forecast predicts a warm and dry spring in Mississippi, with tornadoes remaining a threat and higher pollen counts (affecting local allergies) as meteorological spring begins on March 1 and the equinox arrives on March 20. Hattiesburg American

GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ TSA now requires travelers without REAL IDs to pay $45 for ConfirmID, a new online security clearance process starting Feb. 1 that validates documents for 10 days. Mississippians can avoid the fee by obtaining REAL IDs at local DPS offices. Hattiesburg American
