- ➤ USM student Madison Maddox launched her fourth annual Panty Drop drive this week in Hattiesburg—she is collecting new, unused women's underwear to donate to local groups including Fieldhouse for the Homeless, Boots on the Ground by Project G.A.P., and Our 3 Memorial Foundation. WDAM
- ➤ Today, the Salvation Army of Hattiesburg offers warm shelter with hot meals, drinks, and hygiene items to those in need — residents can visit at 5670 U.S. 49 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. WDAM
- ➤ Scotty Davis from Kim's No Bull in Laurel urges drivers to warm up their vehicles before driving to reduce oil condensation and ensure smoother operation, as Mississippi Highway Patrol warns that icy windshields can lead to distracted driving.
